The task for the extension of a weekend bungalow located in a villa neighbourhood on the outskirts of Vienna was defined by the call for the integration of the garden into the house, as well as the budget of 100,000 euros, with which the client wanted to do something special.

One continual surface constructed out of straight, joined wood beams, opens up and embraces the transition areas from inside to outside and creates a successive movement in the outside area and a series of attractive outdoor, indoor, and in-between spaces. The fold offers variations in quality, micro-climate, transparency, function, and extension.
