The spirit of the connection of the town centre with the regional cycle path should be reintroduced to the town square. Flowing transitions from surfaces offer a multitude of different uses for the square. Instead of granting each use a special area, the square should transform itself according to user requirements. Instead of pushing functions back into the adjacent individual buildings, the design encourages the building uses to extend themselves onto the square.

The material choices are drawn from the surrounding landscape. Stone, water, wood, and Green elements are transformed into building materials and create a continual texture.
